Revive the Roots Committees
Mowry Commons is an experiment in collective stewardship. Community involvement in visioning how we care for the land, the programs we run and fundraising is key to our successes. We have a number of volunteer committees that help to facilitate this work. The Land Stewardship Committee guides decisions and facilitates land based projects. The Programs & Fundraising Committee hosts fundraisers, connects with sponsors and thanks our donors, in addition to scheduling events, educational offerings and creative workshops. The Mary Mowry House Committee handles the ins and outs of caring for a 300+ year old farm house and hosts open houses. The Rootstock Committee is a seasonal committee that plans and helps run our fall festival.
