An event where Rhode Island growers can celebrate the spring through exchanging stories and seeds saved from their gardens. Providence Seed Library, The Organic Seed Alliance, and Revive the Roots have donated a wide range of seeds to re-start our Annual Seed Swap!
April 2nd: Shiitake Log Inoculation - Tickets Here!
Nuts and Bolts Nursery Co-Op joins Revive the Roots for an afternoon all about mushrooms! Take home a Shiitake Mushroom Log. Watch it grow beautiful brown shiitake mushroom. This log will provide food for years! Start a mushroom log and learn about the fruiting cycles of mushrooms!
April 10th: Biscuit Baking in the Cobb Oven - Tickets Here!
A Cobb oven is an earthen oven made of clay, straw and other natural materials and is one of the oldest methods of baking. Cooking outside is the best, less mess to clean, plus the smells of fresh air and wood smoke. Spring herbs will inspire our biscuits as we play with seasonal flavors. All participants will bring home the biscuits they make! Gluten and/or dairy free biscuit options available.

Or what that has to do with growing tomatoes? Look no further! We are here to help you learn the role healthy soil plays in growing bountiful fruits and veggies! Revive the Roots is committed to 100% chemical free growing. All the techniques and garden strategies that we teach reflect our commitment to this practice.
