Bee populations are declining! Help “bee the solution” today during our Share the Buzz event. Meet a local beekeeper and learn more about what it takes to keep bees in your backyard. More than 100 types of crops in the US are pollinated by bees. Learn what they are and taste recipes and products featuring these items, along with recipes using honey!

We’re giving free flower seeds to the first 100 people to the event. Wear a bee costume and we’ll have something special for you!

Wendy Fachon, “Bees, Weeds, & Seeds” educator from Netwalking.com will be with us along with local author, Susan West Kurz, author of graphic novel “Beecoming Sophie: A Bee Conscious Adventure.”

Learn how to make wildflower seed bombs with students from RiverzEdge Arts Project who will be here selling Native New England Wildflower Seed Bombs. They will also be screen printing bee-themed t-shirts on site! Bring your own shirt and get it screened for $5 or buy a shire from RiverzEdge for $15 and help spread the good word: “Give Bees a Chance!”
